Match report First match of the season and it was a great start for the women's 1s out in Sydney Parade. We kept Pembrokes score down to just 71 runs and chased it for the loss of just 1 wicket in just less than 11 overs.

Stand out performance by Mickaela Bursey with her first 5for of the season after coming back from a years break from cricket. Melissa Scott-Hayward had a great start to her season with a fantastic 45 runs off just 31 balls. She was supported by Naomi whole contributed just 2 runs to the total, but had a partnership with Melissa of 22, when Rosie (18 off 23balls) came in to finish it off with her.

We were also down two of our main players, Zoe Lipson who was injured and Shana Lipson Ngai who was playing for Trinity until the college season was over.
