North Kildare Cricket Club Men's 4th XI v Rush on Sun 08 May 2016 at 1.00pm
North Kildare Cricket Club Lost by 56 runs

Match report The Fourths welcomed Rush to The Maws for the first game of the season and the Fourths first game in Division 15 after earning promotion last season.

New skipper Adam Kelly won the toss and sent Rush in to bat. After 19 overs, Rush had 99 runs on the board for the loss of 1 wicket. However, 9 overs later they were all out for 135 after some scintillating bowling from Shahid and Raj. There was also good spells from Rory Keenan, Matthew Bond, Kamal and newcomer Robbie Wells.

North Kildare went out to bat full of confidence. However, 21 overs later a youthful Rush bowling attack had us all out for 79 as they never gave our batters a chance to settle.

There were many positives to take from the game and the Fourths are looking forward to next Sunday's game at home to Clontarf!!
