Match report With some great switched on fielders we managed to maintain a high standard of fielding with only 10 players. A lovely buzz of positivity and confidence in the field continued the whole way through the game to ensure a low enough total to chase. Great runouts by Anne, Anna and Irene and a catch taken by Naomi showed off the teams efforts in the field. The north kildare batswomen (to be politically correct!) were slow to start with one down already in only the second over. But we were quickly ticking over the runs and . With only one run needed to win, Becky's nicely timed pullshot sent the team into cheers as the ball glided across the boundary for 4. The very healthy partenership of 43runs between Becky and Irene finished the game off comfortably in the 15th over.
